Hey, I’m Faith, the girl behind the vision of GIFTED N BLK. Growing up in Slough and now in Windsor, I’ve seen the need for more celebration of Black culture in our community. My passion for diversity and inclusion inspired me to create GIFTED N BLK—a space to honor Black culture through music, food, arts, and more.
This event isn’t just about one night; it’s about building a vibrant community that uplifts and supports Black-owned businesses and those from other ethnic minorities. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Harmonique, aka Monique, is a powerhouse RnB and Soul singer-songwriter from Slough, with a rich background in gospel music. Her sound is an eclectic mix, drawing from legends like Kirk Franklin, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, and contemporary stars like Tori Kelly and Bruno Mars. With over 15 years of captivating performances at weddings, festivals, and even as a finalist for Best Solo Artist at the Youth Music Awards, Harmonique brings a unique energy that you won’t want to miss!

Desree
Meet Desree: Award-Winning Spoken Word Artist at "GIFTED N BLK"! 🌟
Desree is an acclaimed spoken word artist, facilitator, and producer, known for her powerful performances and thought-provoking poetry. From being the Poet in Residence at Glastonbury 2022 to gracing the stage as a TEDx Speaker, Desree’s impact on the arts is undeniable. Her work has been featured in publications like Joy/Us and Wetgrain Poetry, and she’s appeared on *Life and Rhymes* with Benjamin Zephaniah.
Beyond the stage, Desree is a commissioned playwright, curator, and visual media artist. Her pamphlet, “I Find My Strength In Simple Things”, was published by Burning Eye Books, with her debut collection set to release in 2025 with Bad Betty Press.

His work transcends traditional categories, merging the old and new to create thought-provoking pieces that resonate with the cycles of life, including the death of a career or the birth of success. Carlington’s art isn’t just about creation; it’s about inspiring others to live life fully and pursue their dreams.

Kenei B
Kenei B is a singer-songwriter from Slough with nearly a decade of experience. She began her music journey with tracks like "Fumes," "Tired of You," and "Pink Moscato,"a fan favourite. Her recent releases include "Promise" featuring AnywaythaGod, "U Deyeah," and "U MAD," all available on streaming platforms.
Kenei B has collaborated with various artists, including house DJ Richard Harrington, expanding her musical range across genres like R&B, rap, and house. Notable collaborations include "Calling," featured on the Close to Life EP, and "Slow Control," signed by Toolbox House UK Records.
Her passion for the performing arts started in childhood, performing as both a street dancer and singer across England. Currently, she balances her music with her work as an independent advocate, helping others express themselves while upholding their legal rights.
Kenei B’s music has been featured on BBC Music Introducing Berkshire, where she was also interviewed. She has also participated in projects with up-and-coming artists and has been recognized by Slough Borough Council for Black History Month.
Inspired by her mother’s lifelong dedication to music, Kenei B approaches her craft with a "go with the flow" attitude, creating music for fun and participating in various creative projects.

Introducing AnywaythaGod: The British-Born, Caribbean-Raised MC Making Waves 🎤
AnywaythaGod is more than just an artist; he's a father, mentor, and independent powerhouse in the music scene. With roots in both the UK and the Caribbean, he brings a rich, multicultural perspective to his craft. Affiliated with numerous collectives like LGN, One Half of The Jones Brothers, RapXchange, DTN, and GAWDSandLAWDS, his influence spans across many circles.
A true genre-blender, AnywaythaGod isn't afraid to experiment and push boundaries. Although he considers himself a fan first, he's been active in the music world for over two decades and has a treasure trove of tracks waiting to be unleashed. Fans can look forward to upcoming collaborations with RXC, Dantian Collective, Motion Hyrule, Micall Parknsun, Mick Swagger, Daniel Niles, MNDFLNS, Josh Cyrus, Billie Splyff, DSOTM, The Jones Brothers, and many more.

Meet She-Ki, an energy reader from Slough, using divine energy to guide you towards your highest good. Since childhood, She has been fascinated with astrology, meditation, and the unknown, which led her to oracle cards. Now, she's bringing her gift to the public, spreading love and lifting spirits.

Diamondbevell, a powerhouse Freestyle Spoken Word Artist, Composer of words, and Creator of music that leaves a lasting impact. His artistry has moved many, and you can catch his daily posts on IG to see for yourself. 🎤🎶
Bevell has graced the stage at Music and Words numerous times and was a standout performer with the Quarantine Poets, streaming live on IG during the pandemic. Now, we're thrilled to announce that Bevell will be bringing his magic to our Gifted N BLK event on October 5th. 🗓️✨

Lex Jones
Lex Jones is an Emo-drill rapper who describes himself as "if The Joker & Lana Del Wray had a child that made drill" with a worldly origin story. The UK native gained momentum among fans of Korean culture globally, causing him to live in Seoul, and interview some of the biggest names in the Korean and Japanese rap scene including Jay Park, Kohh and the BTS producer Supreme Boi. Eventually, Lex returned to Europe only to mysteriously disappear from all social media into the darker corners of Berlin during the height of the pandemic. Nihilistic lyrics, pop-tinged melodies and menacing beats tell the illuminating story of an "Alixn" as Lex proudly calls himself and his growing swarm of supporters.
